Full-Time: Monday through Friday; varied start times from 6:30am

Essential Duties

  • Load and unload various types of freight from containers to and from terminal floor and delivery trucks by lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, palletizing, shrink wrapping, operating a forklift or electric pallet jack, and accurate completion of corresponding paperwork (i.e. verification of freight items including condition upon receipt & storage location).
  • Retrieve items from warehouse floor, storage bins, vaults, and containers.
  • Assist drivers with deliveries and pick-ups on the road (placing items in designated areas, down stacking, and assembly when required) and safe navigation of delivery locations (reversing onto dock and spotting/stopping traffic and/or pedestrians).
  • Follow instructions from Dispatch Supervisor and Senior Lead Warehouseman.
  • Maintain warehouse and facility cleanliness including shipment containers, trailers, and company vehicles.
  • Complete warehouse closing procedures (secure doors, turn off fans and lights, return paperwork and radios to office, secure all trucks in yard, and lock driveway gates).
  • Fulfill and tint paint orders including pulling orders using high lift, operating tint booth, prepping orders for pick up or delivery, and completing order documents.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory by verifying items and quantities in storage bins/rows and properly accounting for/storing equipment (dolly, pallet jack, hand truck) at end of shift.
  • Assist with monthly facility safety inspections and training of Warehouse Apprentices, Trainees, and Helpers.
  • Wear company-approved uniform, personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Manual labor and all other tasks/job duties as required by the Company.
  • Always think and work safely to prevent work injuries, accidents, and property damage. Comply with all company safety rules, including reporting unsafe acts, conditions, illnesses, and injuries to supervisor or manager and actively participate in identifying ways to make our Company a safer place to work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years related business experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack certified.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

Wage

$20-$21/hour
